Universal is releasing the movie straight to Digital and VOD on August 1st. (7/8/26)
The film has been pulled from Universal's release schedule and is reportedly being shopped around to other studios. It originally had a January 9th 2026 theatrical release set. (12/16/25)

Directed by Kate Doolan (You Are Not My Mother), who was quoted saying: "Fundamentally, I view this film as an exploration of relationships and loneliness. Despite technological advances, there are enduring human truths we cannot escape, and I am looking forward to delving into those depths."
This project is reportedly being billed as "a 1990s erotic thriller."
This movie is said to be set within the M3GAN universe.
