This Week's Notable Horror: 06/22 - 06/28


We’ve got an interesting lineup of new horror releases this week. Tomorrow brings the VOD debuts of the horror comedy HOLD THE FORT and the killer hippo movie HUNGRY. On Wednesday, the latest from director Nicolas Winding Refn (The Neon Demon), HER PRIVATE HELL, opens in theaters, while Friday sees the limited theatrical run for the modern witchcraft movie CAMP and the Peacock debut of the psychological mystery STRUNG. Check below for all the notable flicks coming out this week.

Set in the mysterious and dangerous landscape of the Louisana swamplands, a group of holidaymakers embark on an airboat tour. Unaware of the dangers of the bayou, they venture off the beaten path, lured by the promise of an exclusive adventure. Little do they know that their journey will turn into a fight for survival against a ravenous hippopotamus concealed within the bayou’s depths.

A talented violinist takes a prestigious job as a music tutor for the gifted daughter of an influential and enigmatic family. As she becomes entangled in their opulent world, unsettling secrets begin to surface, forcing her to question her safety, her dreams, and even her sanity.

SUMMERWEEN
FRIDAY - JUNE 26th (VOD)

On Summerween, a former circus clown escapes a mental institution to return to his abandoned mansion and hunt the teens partying there.
